American Sheet Music

Something new (and old) from Between the Lakes Group

In 2014 we set out to organize things here at Between the Lakes Group.  People were starting to complain that the place looked like their grandmother's attic, and while we like the kind of stuff one finds in the attics of grandmothers generally, we realized that it wasn't a compliment.  So we started sorting and even throwing things out.

On December 30 of that year we came across a box at the bottom of a pile of boxes that was full of sheet music from shortly after the turn of the century -- and we mean the 20th century.  While "we could publish THAT" probably wasn't the first thought that came to us, but it was certainly one of the first.  So, as 2014 ends and 2015 begins, we find ourselves with a new kind of material to publish.  Still historical, still American history, in fact -- or, at very least, Americana.

So, here we go!
