About the Falls Village - Canaan Historical Society:

 

The Falls Village - Canaan Historical Society is an educational non-profit organization committed to the preservation of the architectural heritage of the towns of Canaan and North Canaan.

The Society collects and preserves:

  • Old Records and Artifacts
  • Photographs
  • Costumes
  • Domestic and Farm Tools
  • Family and Business Records
  • Furniture
  • Paintings
  • Maps
  • Manuscripts
  • Books

The Museum and Office and now open Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM

We invite you to join this worthwhile organization.  New members and volunteers are always welcome.  Membership fees are as follows:

  • Individual -- $15
  • Family -- $25
  • Friends of the Society -- $100 and up
  • Business -- $50

The Society maintains: Beebe Hill School, South Canaan Meeting House, and the Museum

  • Lawrence Tavern, North Canaan
  • Beckley Furnace, in East Canaan. Lots of photos on that site.
  • North Canaan Union Station
