| Have a friend or relative who wants to get started with e-mail and
the Internet?
Not having an e-mail address nowdays will definitely get you funny looks, no matter who you are. We've worked with people ranging from their 30s through their 80s, painlessly -- and patiently -- introducing them to computers and the Internet. Surprisingly, it rarely takes very long. Often, after just a couple of sessions, we hear things like "Is that all there is to it? I can do this!" That's music to our ears. Do you know someone we could help? We make house calls within our general geographic area. |
Want to pursue a specific topic
related to computers, the
Internet or e-mail, but no one seems to want to take the time to get you
there?
Too often folks in this industry just grunt "Get this package" or "Why don't you just do **** instead?" It COULD be that they don't have the answer to your question right at hand, are afraid to admit they don't know, and just don't have the time it would take to research it for you. So forgive the person who gives you what might seem to be the runaround -- but consider calling us. Some people say they just like to have us watch while they set their new computer up -- just to keep them from making a mistake! |

Has it suddenly started acting peculiar? Or are you completely confused by the incomprehensible error messages pop up at strange times? ("You have performed an Illegal Operation" is one of our favorites.) Call us. Frequently we can help you over the phone. We'll try! We do make house calls when we can't help you over the phone. And if we can't solve the problem, we're happy to refer you to someone who can. |
