Question:  Is the Canaan CD-ROM REALLY ready to ship or are you just taking orders?

Answer:  The Scrap Book of North Canaan CD-ROM is currently shipping.  Here is ordering information.

Question:  I would like to see this CD-ROM before I buy it.  Can I see it in stores?

Scrap Book of North Canaan CD-ROM

Answer:  Sorry, not yet.  At present, our distribution is entirely via this website.  However, volume discounts are available.  Please contact us for particulars if you are interested in five or more copies or if you would like to add this CD-ROM to the line of products that you currently sell.  

Question:  Will this CD-ROM run on my PC?

Answer:  If you're viewing this on the Internet, and you are using a PC, the answer is "most probably YES".  We've constructed it using web browser technology, and have tested it on machines as old as a Dell 486.  We've also tested it on a brand new Pentium 4 running Windows XP Professional, and several in between.  It runs nicely on all of them.   However, some Mac users may be disappointed.  We do have more information available for you, however.

Question:  This has really interested me in the history of the Canaan area.  How can I get involved?

Answer:  There's a Yahoo!Group called "CanaanCT".  It's moderated by Geoff Brown, the compiler of the "Scrap Book of North Canaan" CD-ROM.  It costs nothing to subscribe.  To subscribe, just send an e-mail to CanaanCT-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.  It's that easy!!   We'll be glad to hear from you!
